Together, we grow

Ashbury High School computer lab, Grade 8 to 12, Fairleads Benoni

Ashbury High School is part of Ashbury College, a UMALUSI-accredited independent school in Fairleads, Benoni. Every learner from Grade 8 to 12 is part of a close-knit community where they are known by name, supported in the classroom and encouraged to grow in character as much as in results.

From Grade 10, strong focus is placed on preparing learners for Matric and life beyond school. Our motto, Together We Grow, is reflected in our school logo: a tree that grows stronger, bears fruit and provides shade for others. That is our vision for every Ashbury matriculant.

Our Approach

How we bring out the best in every learner

01

A recognised Matric qualification

Our curriculum follows the National Senior Certificate (NSC) framework under CAPS, recognised by universities across South Africa.

02

Small class sizes

Individual attention, extra tuition and learning support ensure every learner receives the focus they need to succeed.

03

Science & technology

Dedicated science laboratories, a computer centre and hands-on learning prepare learners for a modern, technology-driven world.

04

Christian ethos

Faith, integrity and service underpin everything we do, equipping learners with the character and compassion to make a real difference in the world.

05

University & career readiness

We prepare learners not just to pass Matric, but to step confidently into university, the workplace or whatever comes next.

06

Extra-curricular life

Sport, culture and community programmes give every learner the chance to discover their strengths beyond the classroom.
